Take a deep dive into short stories! In this camp we will be exploring short stories from authors like Ray Bradbury and Shirley Jackson for their literary devices and storytelling abilities and how they connect with the various writing strategies. Immersing ourselves in both reading and writing, allows friends to walk away from this camp with not only greater reading and writing skills but a deeper appreciation for storytelling. Dustin teaches writing at RVNS and has spent summers at Columbia University’s reading and writing workshops.
