This week of camp is all about performing and storytelling through the art of drama. Students will create their own show and perform it for an audience. They will design costumes, write dialogue, incorporate music, create scenery and props, and practice speaking and listening skills in a low pressure, nurturing space. A field trip to a local theatre or a visit from a special guest performer is featured during this camp. If you have a child who loves to perform but is shy about being on stage, this camp is a perfect opportunity for them to experiment and gain confidence as a performer. At the end of the week families will be invited to the big show, entirely created by campers!
