The summer dance camp intensive is intended for students ages 8 & older. Camp is held June 23-27 and August 4-8. You can choose to do one or both weeks. Camp is all day from 9-3 with the option of half day, 9:00-12:00, for students ages 8-11. Students are put into three levels based upon age and/or ability and these levels will determine the number of classes students will take.

This camp is an extremely great opportunity for students wanting to push themselves to the next level in a fun and innovating atmosphere. Students will experience different teachers and styles of dance as well as scholarship opportunities for camp the following year and at SVDC. There will also be a pizza party and awards given on the last day.

Students in level 1 are primarily between the ages of 8-10. These students will have a ballet, jazz, and tap or acrobatics. These classes will range between 60-80 minutes long. Choreography/improvisation and stretching and strengthening classes will be an hour. These students have the option of doing half days, 9:00a-12:00p or full days 9:00a-3:00p.

Students in level 2 are primarily between the ages of 11-13. These students will have ballet, pointe (if already on pointe), jazz, contemporary, stretching & strengthening classes. Technique classes will be 80 minutes and all other classes will be an hour.

Students in level 3 are primarily 14 years of age and older. These students will have ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, stretching & strengthening classes. Technique classes will be 80 minutes and all other classes will be an hour.

2 week discount: $550

Students will need to be in a black leotard with pink/white convertible tights for ballet, pointe and contemporary.
Tap shoes are not required. Jazz shoes can be worn instead.
